I tried both platforms to Play my beloved Yugioh! Trading Card Game against people all over the World. Both Platforms are comfortable and have a lot of Cards in their Database.
Here comes my Opinion:
DN - Dueling Network
- Only English Language (its OK cause Card Names sounds cooler in English)
- Can be played into Browser / needs no extra Download
- Always the newest Cards online
- A Big System with all Yugioh Cards
- You can search specific Player to Duel
- Automatic Searching System for your current Expirience
- You have to do all things for yourslef (counting Life, Summon and react)
- Community sometimes are unfriendly and Harsh
- Have Admin calls; if something happens , Rule Questions or someone trys to cheat
- Free 2 Play
- You can donate to get Specials
- Character Picture and Deck Look can be changed but needs Expirience and Wins to get Pictures and Deck looks (can use own Pictures).
- You can built your own Deck, No Beginner Structure
- Original Yugioh Sounds for Summon, Set and Activate Cards (from the Anime)
- Great Scans and Graphics of the Cards
YGO PRO - DevProOnline
- Needs a Special Software form the DevPro Homepage to Play
- English and German Language available
- Always the newest Yugioh Cards
- A Big System with all Yugioh Cards
- You can Duel against all Players by serching them or Join a Duel
- Team Dueling possible
- All is Automatic, Life Counting, Summon, react
- You get a Beginner Structure Deck, can built own Decks
- No cheating possible cause its all Automatic
- Community OK
- Free 2 Play
- You can set your own Pictures for Deck Look and Backrounds.
- Duling Music
- Good Graphic and Scans of the Cards
I still use both but I like and prefer the DN-Dueling Network. Dont needs a Software and can be played from everywhere. Thats really comfortable. Its all my own Opinion!
